We partner with Lactation Consultants of America, (LCA) a nationwide group practice of in-network providers to bring you lactation care utilizing your policy benefits.

 

• Clients who wish to utilize their insurance are clients of LCA with services performed by Milkwell.  

• Clients will have financial agreements directly with LCA only and will receive intake forms etc. from LCA.  

• LCA handles all billing for you with your insurance carrier and LCA will be your point of contact for all billing related questions.

• Clients will not receive additional bills for 1:1 lactation services from Milkwell. Clients WILL receive an invoice for home visit convenience/travel fees. 

• Clients SHOULD expect to receive bills from LCA for the patient responsibility portion of each claim for both mother and baby when applicable.  

• The LCA Payment Policies will outline financial obligations and expectations.
