The OG Breastfeeding Support Group that we've renamed
"The Infant Feeding Meeting"
This group started as a breastfeeding support group at Montclair B.A.B.Y. over 10 years ago as a way to bring moms together for peer support while also receiving quality breastfeeding guidance. We have since evolved into a "feeding inclusive" group to better meet the needs of the community. This means you will see other parents feeding their baby just like you! We have exclusive pumpers, exclusive formula feeders, exclusive breastfeeders and everything in between! We see you and all the hard work you are doing to feed your baby and we want to support you.
Fridays 9:30-10:30am
$15 for a single drop in
$70 for a package of 5 sessions

Tender Loving Care for TLC Ties™
a group for families with tongue, lip, cheek ties
When your baby is struggling with feeding, everyone in the family needs support. If your lactation consultant has helped identify muscular tension, structural asymmetries or tongue, lip or cheek ties that are contributing to your feeding challenges, this group is for you. Come spend time with other parents in a FUN and stress-free environment learning about ties and how they impact feeding and the life spectrum.
We do not push an agenda, but rather educate, counsel and share resources for you to make informed decisions when these complications are making feeding (and life!) so challenging. We will have games, activities and movements on the floor with babies to help address muscular tension and improve reflex use so please come prepared with a baby wearing carrier, a thick blanket for your baby to play on and any favorite toys.
Tuesdays 2-4pm
$40 per drop in
$115 for package of 3 sessions

Please note that we will not be manually assessing for ties but may be able to help you identify whether further evaluation by lactation or physician may be warranted.
For Milkwell® clients only we can offer manual wound checks. For all others we can help you identify whether follow up with your lactation practice is warranted.
